Athciri Martinez Mondragon, 25, of Hamburg, died Monday, April 19, 2021, in an automobile accident along with her unborn son, Joel Itzae Mondragon. Mrs. Mondragon was a native of Dumas, a resident of Hamburg for the past five years, and a 2014 graduate of Dumas High School. She was a floral designer at Yours and Vine Flower Shop.
She is preceded in death by an infant son, Brandon Isaiah Mondragon in 2017; her grandparents, Albina Ballon, Luis Mondragon and Juana Mondragon.
She is survived by her husband, Jamie Mond-ragon of Hamburg; her parents, Moises and Monica Mondragon Martinez of Dumas; a brother, Sergio Martinez of Hamburg; five sisters, Yoreli Martinez and husband, Javier, and Yesenia Martinez all of Dumas, Marisol Martinez of Hamburg, Anabel Martinez and husband, Junior, and Jenny Martinez all of Dumas; her grandfather, Benito Martinez of Mexico and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
