The Dumas Bobcats opened the 2026 football season with a hard-fought battle against the Hamburg Lions, ultimately falling 36–22.
Although Dumas did not come away with the victory, the Bobcats showed plenty of fight and produced several impressive individual performances throughout the season opener.
