The Dumas Public School District had a great visit on February 4, 2026 as a part of a focus on instruction with a site visit centralized around DESE Act 1082. The leadership core that participated in debrief after walks are as follows: DESE Specialist, Mrs. Alicia Whiteside, Instructional Facilitator, Takyra Williams-Hampton; Middle School principal, Mr. Jarrett Miles; Reed Principal, Dr. Vivian Evans; Target Prep Director, Mr. Alvin Newburn II; Superintendent, Dr. Camille Sterrett; Dumas High School principal, Mrs. Amber Brown Madison and Director of Curriculum and Instruction K-12, Ms. Yolander Brown.
