Dumas Schools hosted Migrant Family Night on December 9, 2025.
Migrant families enjoyed a night filled with informational topics, community support along with Bingo, dinner and book give away for students! It was a great time for all that came out! Thank you to all that participated and offered support! We are better together!

Reed Elementary held their Christmas Musical for Pre-Kindergarten through 5th grade December 3, 2025. “There’s nothing like parental support—both academically and during the special events we host here at Reed Elementary School. Our students performed exceptionally well at today’s Christmas musical!” The school said. The Dumas School District thanked their amazing Music Teacher/Director, Mrs. April Morgan for ensuring our students received a memorable, high-quality musical experience. 3rd-5th grade in Red Shirts Pre-K-2nd in Green Shirts

Dumas High School Sophomore Jocelyn Ramirez earned the Arkansas Bilteracy Seal. According to the Arkansas Department of Education, Jocelyn has demonstrated evidence of academic perseverance, intercultural competence, and readiness for a 21st century global community. In order to obtain the seal, students must pass the STAMPS assessment in other language than English. In addition, they must have two sets of evidence proving they are proficient in English . Such evidence includes ATLAS or ACT assessment.
