Celebrating Arkansas School board Members! Arkansas School Board Association December 18, 2025. January 2026 has been declared School Board Member Recognition Month by the Arkansas State Board of Education, and Governor Sarah Huckabee Sanders has issued a proclamation recognizing the service of Arkansas School Board Members. This year’s theme is “Answering the Call” honors school board members who step forward to lead and make decisions that guide Arkansas Schools and support student success. Lydia Davis and the ladies of Women Empowering Women and Reaching Others donated dresses and skirts to the First Baptist Church of Gould for their Operation Christmas Child program February 9. Kitty Greenup and Gloria Jones accepted the dresses for the FBC Gould. The Church thanked Davis and the WEWRO ladies for their donation.
