The Bobcats dominated every phase of the game Friday night in Helena, smashing the Central Cougars 42-0 at Cadd Polk Field.
Dumas overwhelmed Central from the opening kickoff, which was an onside kick, recovered by the Bobcats at their own 48 yard line.
The Cougars jumped offside on the first two plays, giving Dumas a first and ten at the Central 42.
Dumas marched 42 yards in three plays to score, featuring a 38 yard burst by Bobcat senior running back #3 Kylin James, to give the Bobcats a first and goal inside the five yard line. Senior Johntarrius Washington #10 took the handoff on the next play from senior quarterback #9 Kennon Jones and scored the contest's first touchdown. The extra point was no good, however, the Bobcats held a 6-0 lead with 11:38 to play in the opening quarter.
The Cougars first possession netted minus one yard. Central sent senior #3 Ahmad Walker back to punt on fourth and 11. The snap sailed over Walker's head into the end zone, where he scooped up the ball and attempted a forward pass that fell incomplete. Dumas took over at the Cougar 18 yard line.
Three plays later, Dumas sophomore running back #7 Brandon Johnson crossed the goal line on a three yard touchdown run. Johnson ran in the 2-point conversion to extend the Bobcat lead to 14-0 with 10:07 to go in the quarter.
The Cougars picked up their first, first-down on their next possession, which started at Central 18 yard line, on a nine-yard scramble by Central senior quarterback #1 Calvin Brewster
Brewster completed a pass to senior #2 Jakylan Cole on first down, moving the ball to the Central 24 yard line. A three yard loss on second down, brought up a third and eight. Brewster scrambled for a nine yard gain and a first down at the Cougar 31.
An offside penalty against Dumas gave Central a first and five at their own 36. After back to back incomplete passes, the Cougars called a time out at the 8:48 mark.
On third and five, Brewster was sacked, forcing the Cougars to punt on fourth and eight. The punt rolled to the Dumas 30 yard line.

The Central defense stiffened and held Dumas to minus one yard on the next play before Clark batted down back to back Bobcat pass attempts by Jones and ball went over on downs at the Central 19 yard line.
Still unable to get any offense going against the Bobcats defense, the Cougars went three and out, punting on fourth and 10. The punt was a line drive that hit a Central lineman in the back and was recovered by Dumas at the Cougar 27.
Dumas was unable to capitalize on the field advantage and turned the ball over on downs at the Central 27.
On first down, the Cougars drew a holding penalty, backing Central up to their own eight yard line to end the first quarter with Dumas up 14-0.
Three plays into the second quarter saw the Cougars punt on fourth and 26. Dumas returned the punt to the Central 26 yard line.
Five plays later, the Bobcats drove 26 yards in six plays, scoring on a Kylin James eight yard touchdown run. After a successful two point conversion, Dumas extended their lead to 22-0.
Bobcat senior place kicker #20 Roman James sent the kickoff into the end zone to set Central up at their own 20.
Central again went three and out, punting on fourth and four. The punt was fielded at the Dumas 45 yard line by senior #11 Shamarcus Heard who returned the kick 57 yards for a Bobcat touchdown. With the PAT, Dumas led 29-0 with 5:08 left in the second quarter.
The Cougars advanced the ball to the Dumas 36 in five plays on their next possession, featuring a 14 yard scamper by Brewster. However, on fourth and 13 the Cougars turned the ball over on downs.
Dumas took over with 57 seconds left in the first half.
Four plays into the Bobcat possession, Jones completed a screen pass to Kylin James who rumble 27 yards, running over Cougar defenders, for a touchdown, with 35 second left on the first half clock.
The extra point was unsuccessful, leaving what turned out to be the halftime score at Dumas 35, Central 0.
Central returned the second half kickoff to their 15 yard line.
Brewster was sacked on first down and gained nine yards on the following play. After an incomplete pass, Brewster completed a pass to sophomore Daejahn Harrell for a seven yard gain and a first down at the Cougar 27.
Brewster was sacked on first down and threw and incomplete pass on the next play bring up third and 19 where the Cougars attempted a double pass. The pass fell incomplete, forcing a punt on fourth and 19.
Heard returned the Central punt back to the Cougar 27.
After a five yard motion penalty, the Bobcats drove 33 yards in three plays, featuring a 16 yard completed pass from Jones to sophomore #19 Guillermo Petty and a 17 yard touchdown pass to junior #13 Morlett Bolden from Jones with 2:03 to play in the third quarter. With the PAT, Dumas led 42-0, which turned out to be the final score with the second half under the running clock mercy rule.

Kennon Jones completed four of nine pass attempts for 64 yards, two Tds.
Jase Bishop was unable to complete a pass in three attempts.
