I am the daughter of the late Nehemiah Miles and Leola Miles.
As a Dumas High School Honor Graduate, I received a full four-year scholarship to attend the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff. I graduated from the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff and earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting. I moved to Texas and lived there until I returned to my hometown of Dumas.
I have over thirty years of office experience and over twenty years of accounting experience in my chosen career. I am currently working at the City of Dumas as a Water Office Clerk and Scheduling Assistant for the Dumas Community Center. Previously, I worked at Delta Memorial Hospital as an Accounts Payable Manager.
Volunteer services in Dumas included the annual Corn Supper at the Dumas Community Center, children's field trip with New Bethel Church Ministry, served at a luncheon during Hospital Week at Delta Memorial Hospital, assisted in a community sale which benefited Breast Cancer Awareness with Birthing A Kingdom (BAK) and shared donations with the community.
I am a member of New Bethel Church Ministry. I have always enjoyed spending quality time and fellowship with family, friends and other acquaintances. I am so blessed to have caring, kind and wonderful people in my life to have instilled in me the desire to serve others.
