Cardell Hall, Sr., affectionately known as “CD,” age 76, of Dumas, Arkansas, passed away peacefully on January 21, 2026, at The Springs of Pinnacle Mountain Health and Rehabilitation in Little Rock, Arkansas. He was born May 30, 1949, in Pickens, Arkansas, to the late James and Alberta (Jackson) Hall, one of twelve children, seven of whom preceded him in death.
Cardell married Betty (Allen) Hall on September 27, 1971. They were blessed with one son and four daughters. A devoted husband and father, he served as a police officer, ambulance driver, custodial worker, and bus driver in Dumas, Arkansas. He later founded Hall Janitorial Services, which he owned and operated with his family until retirement.
He is survived by his wife of 55 years; children Cardell Jr. (Mesha), Paulette, Tamera Hall-Warren (Paul), DeWanda, and Cheryl Hall-Williams (Sammy); 13 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; Siblings Jimmie Hall, Icee Hall-Gleeton, Ruby Jewel Hall-Brown, and Herma Jean Hall-Jackson; and a host of other relatives and friends.
