NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
Notice is hereby given by the City of Dumas, Arkansas (the “City”) that a public hearing concerning the proposed issuance of a water and sewer revenue bond will be held at a meeting of the City Council at 6:00 o’clock p.m., on the 8th day of May, 2023 at the regular meeting place of the Council, 155 East Waterman, Dumas, Arkansas.
The City Council has determined that extensions, betterments and improvements to the water facilities of the City’s water and sewer system (the “Improvements”) should be constructed. The City proposes to issue a water and sewer revenue bond in the maximum principal amount of $380,000 to finance all or a portion of the costs of the Improvements. The bond will be payable from revenues of the City’s water and sewer system.
At the hearing all objections and suggestions as to the bond will be heard, and the City Council will take such action as is deemed proper in the premises.
