Samuel Hartman's last known address is in Logan County
Arkansas — The Arkansas Department of Corrections says a convicted rapist escaped from prison on Friday, Aug. 12.
According to the Arkansas Escape Alert System, Samuel Hartman escaped from the East Arkansas Regional Unit in Brickeys.
Hartman was sentenced in November 2013 to life in prison for rape in Franklin County.
The 38-year-old is 5 feet 9 inches tall and weighs approximately 230 pounds. He has multiple tattoos, including one that says "Forever & Always" and another that says "Sam-N-Christine." His last known address is on Persimmon Point Road in Magazine, Arkansas, which is in Logan County.
