Auxiliary members are excited to offer weekly free Zumba Senior Gold Wellness classes on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 10 to 11 A.M in the Dumas Community Center gym. Classes are taught by Debra Hawkins, a licensed fitness and Zumba instructor. Classes have been in session since January 17th and are full of fun. Zumba Gold helps with inflammation and flexibility and is designed to make persons of all ages feel good mentally, physically and spiritually. The public is encouraged to come and get into the "groove" with others. A body that tends to stay in motion stays in motion, but a body that tends to be at rest—stays at rest. Good health is in the hands of the individual. Members of the Auxiliary would like to build a lively community by promoting a "Community Day of prayer".
The public is encouraged to participate. The "Community Day of Prayer" is scheduled for Sunday, July 9th in the Dumas Community Center gym at 3:00 P.M. The goal is to work together to build a better community in prayerand in action. Dumas community is on the move, and with God all things are possible.
