The origin of Memorial Day has records beginning in 1882 and more formally noted in 1968. The significance of the day is most noteworthy. We honor the men and women who have been giving their lives to serve this country and the citizens hereof.
Oftentimes, we see the warfare and conflict in foreign countries and sometimes it affects US(A) directly. Sometimes we are aiding other countries it's for our county's best interests. The direction from the Commanders is what guides these decisions. But who guides this group? The answer is simple but not always clear: GOD. We proclaim... We are One Nation Under God.
Today, we are looking at wars within our country and our communities. We see the violence at all-time highs. Who will defeat the violence in US(A)? So often the first to intervene are the faith leaders. No, not the religious leaders, but the true FAITH LEADERS. The ones who hear from God and are not only hearers of the Word but are doers/practitioners of the Word.
We look at biblical leaders such as Moses who led God's people out of bondage. We look at leaders like Daniel, Esther, the Apostle Paul and others who responded to the urgent needs of God's people. Modern day prophets like Rev. King are just a few who are demonstrative biblical rights leaders who were Faith First Responders. Today we are advancing this movement with an intentional strategy to defeat violence and transform the culture.
WE NEED A FULL FORCE TO DEFEAT VIOLENCE IN THE WORLD. Faith First Responders are needed, and our states, nation and world will be better suited we bring this group to optimization.
Those who go out with love over hate, good over evil, to put honor, respect and bring unity to the forefront. This group has been here and remains solid for the good of all.
Today, I humbly ask each reader of this post (especially those who know that this group is too important to leave out of the problem-solving equation for one more day) to think and pray forward this new advancement that has been here since the beginning. The mission is clear: Putting men and women who are 'faith-first' responders in the category and compensation that will be the difference maker in how collectively we can transform a culture from violence, evil, hate, divisiveness back to a culture of community, civility, honor and respect for life.
