I am Hazel Everett Pruitt and I am seeking a term as Mayor for the City of Gould, Arkansas. I am a life-long resident of Gould and has been a continuous participant in community affairs. I served on the Gould City
Council in 1997- 98 and 2013-2014.
I am currently an active member of Jericho Missionary Baptist Church. I am a former member of First Baptist Church where I was a choir member.
I graduated from William O. Field High School in Gould. I continued my education by attending Capital City Business College, SEARK College, and UAPB with emphasis on Business Administration. I have worked at
Belden, Levi Straus, Arkansas Department of Corrections, and in Star City at the Area Agency and currently working in Dumas at the City Hall through the NCBA (Senior Work Program).
I am a lover of history, and love writing about personal, family, and community affairs. I have always had a concern for the affairs in Gould, its growth, citizen welfare, safe, healthy, and beneficial activities for everyone.
In the last four years, many recognizable improvements have been made in Gould under the present administration. I desire to continue that progress and add others. Thus, I am seeking the position for Mayor on November 8, 2022. I am requesting your support of me for this position. I will be an asset to this community and continue to move it forward. Gould does not need to go backwards.
