My name is Tironeka Brown and I am announcing my candidacy to run for Dumas City Council, Ward 3 Position 2. My decision to run for this position is driven by my desire to see Dumas continue to move forward and make progress. The goal is to serve YOU, the citizens with the efficiency and courtesy YOU DESERVE by bringing integrity, transparency, and productive work ethics skills to the Dumas City Council.
I am a long time Dumas resident, graduate of Dumas High School, and mother of two honor students in Dumas schools. I hold an Associate and Bachelor’s degree in Computer Information Systems, a Master’s Degree in Information Systems, and am working toward a Master of Arts Degree. The passion I have to see Dumas thrive is evident in how I already serve this community in various capacities:
