Heather Lawrence-Harris has just the treat for you. Heather opened “Condors Cones” for business as of May 2021, and opened back for the season this past May during the first year anniversary.
Condor's Cones was named after Heather's father, Joseph “Jerry” also known as “Condor” Lawrence, who passed away on October of 2018.
Condor was always about peace and love, and had a hippie personality according to Heather. Which is where the logo of Condor's Cones came from.
Condor's Cones is located beside “The Gift Shop,” which is also owned by Heather, right off Highway 65 as you enter Dumas. The bright and beautiful colors is hard to miss as you drive by.
Painted by Shane Pipes who surprised Heather by giving Condor's Cones a new look for the new season, keeping the hippie personality and rich summer colors.
Condor's Cones is introducing a new treat for the season called Snowballs. Which is a scoop of ice cream tucked between two snow cones, forming the perfect treat for the summer.
There are at least 30 or more flavors for the snow cones, and anyone could mix and match.
Condor's Cones also plans to introduce coffee this fall, and if it goes well, coffee would be year round and snow cones would be seasonal.
Changing the name to “Condor's Coffee and Cones.” Heather loves that her business brings people together to create unity, and wishes the world would have more of it to create peace and love.
Heather graduated the Dumas High School, and obtained her bachelor's degree in broadcast journalism at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock. At one point Heather and both of her parents, Diane and Jerry 'Condor' Lawrence, all worked together at The Clarion. Diane Rowland-Lawrence still works here today.
Heather has two boys who absolutely love the snow cones, Lawrence Sutton Harris and Logan Shaw Harris. Heather's brand new tee line is also named after her two boys. “Sutton and Shaw” is out now with limited quantities, call 8703826907 to reserve yours today.
