Children at Boys & Girls Club of McGehee had an exciting time at the Memphis Grizzlies versus Los Angeles
Lakers game a few weeks ago. The Club took a group of 27 children and chaperones on December 29 to the FedEx Forum to watch the two teams play a very close game. Everyone was able to attend free of charge as the Grizzlies provided the tickets. Many children were able to experience attending an NBA game for the first time.
Many opportunities similar to this one are available to those who attend Boys & Club of McGehee. The Club offers children with lessons, field trips, and events that not only appeal to their interests but foster their growth into productive, caring, and responsible citizens as well. These opportunities extend past elementary school. Boys & Girls Club of McGehee now offers services up to 12th grade thanks to the new Teen Center that opened in the fall.
