Dumas, Arkansas - Local professional photographer Tara Dickson, an honored member of the Arkansas Professional Photographers Association (APPA) recently attended Capture 2021 / The annual APPA state convention held in Conway, Arkansas, where she received two awards in the state photographic image competition.
The winning photographs entitled, “I Can Do It By Myself” and “Let’s Get To The Pointe”, received the honor of a Blue Ribbon Merit award. This award is only given to photographs scoring between 80-100 by thorough and rigorous judging.
The official image competition is held each year at the APPA state convention where prints are judged by a panel comprised of top professional photographers from all over the United States.
Tara is a Certified Professional Photographer and has served the Dumas/ Desha County area for over 12 years. She focuses on seniors, families and children’s portrait photography. Tara also photographs schools and sports leagues.
Arkansas Professional Photographers Association is the state affiliate for the Professional Photographers of America (PPA).
