*Limited Open Hours: Monday-Friday, 11-4:30
*Masks are required for patrons.
*Computer usage and time in the library has increased to 1 hour per patron per day.
*Handwashing/Hand sanitizing is mandatory upon entering the building.
*Sign-ins are required.
*Maintain social distancing of 6 feet.
*Staff cannot provide one-on-one tech support at this time. We will answer questions to the best of our abilities.
*Faxing, copying, and printing are available once more.
*Curbside services still available to those that do not wish to come inside the building.
*We will not be accepting any donations (books, movies, magazines, etc.) until further notice.
*The meeting room is unavailable until further notice.

Census 2020: There’s still time to complete the Census! Desha County’s response rate is currently 48.9%, while the national response rate is 64.7%. Desha County is losing money every time someone does not complete their questionnaire. Worried about your information? Don’t be! Census Bureau employees take a lifetime oath to never reveal any information they obtain. Census information is strictly used for statistics and data analysis until 72 years have lapsed. Fill out your Census online, by phone, or by mail. The library has a Census kiosk, too! It only takes 5 minutes!
Library Card Sign-up Month: September is Library Card Sign-up Month! To celebrate, the library is having a giveaway! Anybody who registers for a library card during the month of September will be automatically entered into the drawing. Dolly Parton’s Imagin-ation Library: You can still enroll any child that lives in Desha County that hasn’t reached their fifth birthday in Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library. Your child will receive a free book in the mail each month until they reach their fifth birthday. You can enroll your child or children at the following link: https://tinyurl.com/deshacoimaglib.
