A Special Thank You
This is a thank you to all the men and women that came to the aid of Tillar Fire Department
on November 29 at 115 E street in Tillar at a house fire.
Fire Departments from Winchester, Selma, McGehee, Watson and Tillar. Also, seven apparatus were present along with thirty seven or more fire fighters, EMS, auxiliary and countless residents that brought water, made phone calls and just helped.
If allowed I would like to make a statement. Our world is in a sad state at present. People are not sure which way to turn. On this day all of these folks knew what needed to be done, what had to be done and without question they did that and much more. Some friends who live in large cities, wonder why we live in in a rural area, my answer is always because of the folks, you can always count on them when you need them in a tight.
Thank you to each of these individuals for what they did on this day and all those other days when they are there.
