The Dumas Community Development Committee presented information about the community survey at the Dumas Chamber of Commerce meeting May 3, 2022.
Linda Weatherford presented the information and had the audience participate by working in groups to answer questions and discuss some of the top six issues identified in the survey. The Topics discussed were the lack of local retail business, city appearance and cleanliness, lack of recreational activities, lack of elderly services, lack of available housing and the lack of job opportunities. Each table discussed the facts of their topic, what could happen in the future and future solutions.
