Halloween is here at the Dumas Library! Over the next few weeks leading up to Halloween, the library is offering several spooky-themed events.
The spook-tacular Tiny Tots storytime is Tuesday, October 25, from 3:45-4:30 PM. Kids will enjoy kid-friendly Halloween stories, crafts, and a snack. Tiny Tots is available to kids 3-6 (Pre-K through Kindergarten). Registration is not required, but preferred so staff can have enough materials on hand.
New this month is a Kids’ Crafternoon. Join us for an afternoon of making Halloween string art on Wednesday, October 26, from 2-5 PM. This program is open to kids 6-17, and registration is required! Spots are limited, so sign-up ASAP! Kids’ Crafternoon will be a drop-in event this month; just stop in any time between 2-5 PM and make your craft.
Wear your costumes and have some safe and spooky fun at our Monster Mash party on Saturday, October 29, from 6-8 PM! We’ll have games, crafts, snacks, and more. A-State Childcare Aware will also have a booth at the event to educate parents on everything the organization offers.
It’ll be a frightening good time at the Dumas Library! To register for any events, please call the library at 870-382-5763.
