The Bobcats hosted Hamburg Thursday, November 4, 2021 suffering a 27-12 loss to the Lions.
The loss sets the Bobcats 2021 season record at 1-6 in 4A Region 8 play, 2-7 overall.
The kids played hard all season for Head Football Coach Antonio Lovelady and his staff. There was a learning curve under a new coaching staff and system. The Bobcats got better as the season progressed. Their progress just didn't manifest itself on the scoreboard.
While we will miss our graduating seniors, the returning Bobcats along with a talented incoming sophomore class gives us something to look forward to.
The 2021 season was a foundation building year, that I believe will pay future dividends.
The Dumas Bobcats will rise again. Don't miss it fans.
