Alice Marie Beegle of Watson joined the Lord our Savior on July 12, 2021. Alice was born in Lonoke, Arkansas on January 4, 1932. She will be reunited with her parents Archie and Pauline Hunthrop, brothers Paul and John Hunthrop, and sisters Linnie Ragon and Dorthy Kiernan.
She graduated from Watson High School in 1950. She was a homemaker and devoted member of the Watson Baptist Church.
She leaves behind her loving and devoted husband of 70 years, James “Jim” R Beegle of Watson. Her children Sharon Mankin (Hollis), James “Bo” R Beegle, Linda Lee (Chuck) all of Watson. Grandchildren Skyler Braswell (Bryan) of Colfax, Louisiana, Seth Mankin (Amy) of East End, Arkansas, Lindsey Anderson (Adam) of Paron, Arkansas and Jenna Para (Jared) of Gulf Breeze, Florida. Four great grandchildren Swayzee Ferguson, Kade Mankin, Grace and Sophia Anderson.
A graveside service was held at 10 AM Thursday, July 15, 2021 at the Watson cemetery. Mark Staples officiated. Pallbearers: Gene Best, George Beatty, Joe Beatty, Johnny Cartwright, and Greg Hunthrop.
