Tommy Nathan Neeley, 75 of Sherwood, Arkansas formerly of Dumas, Arkansas. Tommy passed away September 17, 2020, in North Little Rock, Arkansas. Born July 9, 1945, in Arkansas City, Arkansas the son of the late Hershel C. and Anna Grace Williams Neeley. His parents and brother, Tracy Neeley preceded him in death. His brother Larry Neeley passed away in April of 2021.
Tommy was a member of Parkhill Baptist Church in North Little Rock, Arkansas. He retired from the United States Department of Agriculture. Tommy served in the United States Air Force and the Arkansas Army National Guard and was a member of NRA.
Survivors are his son, Jason Neeley of Tucson, Arizona and two daughters, Leighann Arthur of Alexander, Arkansas and Melissa Houston of Branson, Missouri and seven grandchildren, two brothers, Hershel Neeley and Paul Neeley both of Dumas, Arkansas and two sisters, Earlene Satterfield of Dumas, Arkansas, and Barbara Ann Gillum of Jushua, Texas.
Memorial service 10 AM on Friday, July 9, 2021, what would have been his 76th birthday at Griffin Funeral Home with Rev. Steven Tiner officiating with full military honors. Followed by l2 noon catered lunch at First Baptist Church Fellowship Hall, with fellowship and sharing of stories of Tommy. At 2 PM closing remarks and departure as the family will take Tommy to his requested final resting place, a veteran’s marker will be placed at the foot of his parents’ graves in Tyro Cemetery.
