On behalf of the Dumas Basketball Booster Club, we would like to thank everyone for helping to make our 2nd Annual Alumni Basketball Game fundraiser a SUCCESS‼
We couldn't have done it without all of y'all!! Special thanks to Street Mentors of Dumas (SMOD) and their sponsors for being apart of this AMAZING event and for working graciously with us and providing a delicious FREE home cooked meal to the community, free toys to all children and youth in attendance at the game, and even money.
It was good seeing all of our former athletes in action and even former Coach Cicely Greene-Simpson for a great cause. Thanks Shamon Coger for stepping in to help coach as well.
Thanks to Kim Chatman, Sherodrick Smith, and Ryan Lee for helping to form the teams, Supt. Dr. Sterett, Coach Lanehart, and the School Board, for allowing us the opportunity to host this AMAZING event, Dumas Bobcats Alumni Association,
Officer Kristie & Greg Freeman, and Mrs. Dorothy Rogers, for all of your help, and Coach Harris, Coach Leeper, Coach Austin, and JB for helping with the clean-up.
We thank the community for coming together and support. We're looking forward to next year!!

*Part 1- SMOD was able to feed the community a delicious home cooked meal and Christmas activities.
*Part 2- SMOD and its sponsors, along with Lisa Simmons, did the Toy Giveaway throughout the games and some were able to receive money as well!!
*Game 1: (Girls) old school vs new school- Both teams played a good game, but new school (Dumas Lady Ballers) came out with W.
*Game 2: (Boys) old school (Them Cats) vs new school (Them Boys). Both teams played a good game. This was a close one, but new school (Them Boys) came out with the W.
