“Mary, this is for you!” shouted a crowd of family and friends as they surprised Mary Jenkins with a special 87th birthday celebration Saturday, August 8, at the Dumas Arts Center.
The birthday bash was a complete surprise to Jenkins, who was touched by the outpouring of love and support from family, friends and members of the community.
