The U.S. National Weather Service in Little Rock is predicting colder weather for the first half of January. Most model guidance is trending toward a colder first half of January. There may be a blast of Arctic air at some point (maybe during the second week). The forecast calls for mainly rain in about a week (Jan 5), but some snow can't be ruled out. (Submitted Photos)
