The Desha County Quorum Court voted to approve Ordinance 2024-14 to establish a new AED Grant for the Desha County Sheriff Department September 19, 2024.
Desha County Quorum Court met September 19, 2024, at 1:30 p.m. at the Desha County Courthouse.
The Quorum Court approved Ordinance 2014-14 and Resolution 2024-8.

DMS 7th Grade Bobcats win conference title

The 7th grade Bobcats achieved their goal of conference champs with a 20-12 win against the McGehee Owls Thursday at the Ag Bow October 31, 2024.
The 7th grade finished their season 7-0-1 with a tie against Drew Central, but their goal was to remain undefeated conference champions.
