As we move into 2021, as Mayor I say:
Thanks to everyone for supporting the City Council and the affairs of the City during 2020.
Thanks for helping to improve the appearance of the City of Dumas. This is our town and it is up to all of us to keep it clean and looking good. Things as simple as tearing down or fixing old buildings, moving old cars, picking up trash, mowing grass makes a difference. Visitors as well as citizens appreciate a clean and beautiful town.
Thanks for supporting community and school events.
Thanks to the businesses that manage to keep their doors open for the provisions of the community.
Finally, despite the increase in the confirmed cases of COVID 19 and related deaths, we are looking forward to putting 2020 in our rear-view mirrors and moving into 2021 with coronavirus safety in the front view mirrors as we continue to engage in the necessary family, community, and business activities.
