Criminal Mischief Reported
Lt. Jamie Donaldson of the Dumas Police Department took a report from Rita Lane Monday, March 8, 2021.
Mrs. Lane stated that someone caused damage to her front bedroom window and porch. There are no known suspects at this time. Mrs. Lane was advised that a report would be on file.
Theft of Property Reported
Dumas Police Chief Keith Finch took a report from Page Martin Monday, March 15, 2021.
Martin reported her purse was stolen from her car on March 13th or 14th. Martin stated to Chief Finch that she had unintentionally left the door on her car unlocked between the hours of approximately 5 PM – 11:30 PM. She further stated she went out to retrieve her purse and it was missing.
Martin has called and had her credit cards and bank cards canceled. She also advised she will have her locks changed at her residence.
Martin stated she had already searched nearby ditches and dumpsters in hope of locating her purse.
The purse was described as a taupe colored HoBo purse with a snake skin looking HoBo wallet inside. Her keys were on a red wrist ring. Martin was advised a follow-up would be completed and a report will be on file.
