MONTICELLO, Ark. — The University of Arkansas at Monticello (UAM) has received the Diamond Award from the Arkansas Historical Association (AHA) for its efforts to restore and preserve historic buildings on campus and register them on the National Register of Historic Places.

Auctioneer Jimmy Orrell called out bids at the live auction with the assistance of Desha County Judge Wayne Smith and other volunteers.
