NATIONAL SUMMARY
A strong cold front will stretch from north to south across
the central United States tomorrow, bringing locally heavy
rain and storms to the northern Plains and the risk for
severe thunderstorms across parts of the central and
southern Plains. Ahead of this, strong high pressure will
bring summerlike warmth to much of the eastern U.S. from the
Mississippi Valley to the East Coast. In the West, showery
weather will prevail across the northern Rockies, with mixed
rain and snow showers at high elevations. Most of the
Southwest and California coast will be dry and mild. Spotty
showers and thunderstorms will dot the Florida Peninsula as
well as the Texas Gulf Coast.
