NATIONAL SUMMARY
A potent storm paired will bring a wide area of rain across
much of the Southeast and into parts of the Mid-Atlantic
tomorrow. Embedded thunderstorms will erupt from northern
Florida into far southern North Carolina. There can also be
an area of strong to severe storms that impact parts of
eastern Tennessee. Storms can turn severe and bring damaging
winds, heavy downpours and even an isolated tornado. On the
colder side of the storm, snow will fall across southern and
into central Missouri, mixing with rain in Illinois and
central Indiana. Many central areas of the country will be
dry, though there can be a few snow showers across far
northern portions of the upper Great Lakes. Meanwhile, a
weak storm will bring some high-elevation snow to parts of
the Intermountain-West as much of the Southwest stays dry.
