The Nation's Weather for Tuesday, June 18, 2024
_____
NATIONAL SUMMARY
As a disturbance evolves over the north-central United
States tomorrow, severe thunderstorms are expected to
develop within some hard-hit zones from western Kansas
through northern Minnesota and into Ontario. These locations
may experience hail, strong and damaging wind gusts and
tornadoes, with the days of downpours also contributing to
an increased flooding concern through the night. A separate
zone of flood potential will exist farther to the south
across mainly coastal portions of Texas and Louisiana as a
tropical rainstorm becomes better organized through the day.
Showers will spread across Florida as another disturbance
takes shape over the Bahamas. Spotty storms will redevelop
from the Midwest to the interior Northeast, with rain for
Montana and mainly dry conditions elsewhere.
