The Nation's Weather for Tuesday, June 28, 2022
_____
NATIONAL SUMMARY
Afternoon and evening showers and thunderstorms are likely
once again in the Southeast tomorrow. After recent days of
similar rainfall, a saturated ground may allow for an
isolated flood threat. Farther west, along the Louisiana and
Texas coasts, a tropical disturbance will approach the
coast. While it will be disorganized and may not be a
tropical depression or storm, heavy rainfall will still be
possible. This rain will help reduce the ongoing drought,
but can lead to localized flooding. Monsoon-driven showers
and thunderstorms are likely once again from Arizona and New
Mexico, northward to Wyoming. A couple of strong storms are
possible, especially in southern areas. Cooler weather will
remain in place across the Northwest.
