Mr. Varnell Racy, 87 of Dumas, Arkansas passed away Sunday, May 8, 2022 at U.A.M.S. in Little Rock.
Born August 20, 1934 in Tillar, Arkansas, the son of the late Richard Racy, Sr. and Elnora Jackson-Racy. A member of St. John M.B.C. in Mitchellville serving as a Deacon and was a retired employee of C. B.Stevens Farms, Kelso, AR.
He is survived by his wife, Barbara Racy of Dumas, AR, two sons, Don Livingston of Dumas, Donnell Racy of Mitchellville, one daughter, Mary Ann Hawkins of Grand Prairie, Texas, 7 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday, May 14, 2022 at St. John M.B.C. in Mitchellville with Rev. Johnny Smith, Jr. officiating. Burial will be in New Light Cemetery in Tillar, AR by Brown Funeral Home of Dumas, AR.
His body will lie in state at the Church on Saturday from 9:15 a.m. until time of services.
Walk thru viewing will be from 4:00-5:00 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
