Bula Myree Ross Dorman, 91 of Sheridan, formerly of the Hopedale community (Desha County) Arkansas passed away June 5, 2021 in Sheridan, Arkansas. Born August 9, 1929, in Lono, Arkansas, the daughter of the late Walter and Mallie Swayze Ross. She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Dorman and her twin sister Fay and sister Wanda Woodall, brother, Winston Ross and two grandsons Paul Wayne Allen and Ryan Alexander.
Mrs. Dorman was a member of Hopedale Missionary Baptist Church, homemaker and loving mother. Mrs. Dorman worked 20 years at DanTan, 25 years at Bassett and 5 years as a salesclerk at Wolf Brothers.
Survivors are two sons Larry Dorman and wife Sandra of Montrose, Arkansas and Joseph Rowland Dorman and wife, Donna of Pine Buff, Arkansas and two daughters, Paula Davis of Sheridan, Arkansas and Penelope Dodson and husband Jerrell of Little Rock, Arkansas, two brothers Joseph Ross of Mountain View, Arkansas and Edward Ross of Tillar, Arkansas and three sisters, Addie Mae Sizemore of Eugene, Oregon Lula Montgomery of Little Rock, Arkansas and Diane Porter of Bella Vista, Arkansas, her 9 grandchildren; Mandy (John) Lunsford, Jennifer Dodson, Timothy Dorman, Brandi (Charlie) Jeffers, Jacob (Olivia) Dorman, Brian (Tonya) Kesterson. Scott (Jennifer) Kesterson, Lynn Allen and Shanna Alexander and 14 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren.
Visitation from 5-7 PM, Tuesday, June 8, 2021, at Griffin Funeral Home. Funeral services held 2 PM, Wednesday, June 9, 2021, at Hopedale Missionary Baptist Church with Rev.
