William Curtis “Curt” Moore, 42, of Dumas, Arkansas, passed away June 16, 2020.
He was born February 14, 1978, in Dumas, the son of Carter and Janet Hill Moore.
Curt was a member of Hopedale Missionary Bap-tist Church, owner of Moore Farms for the past 22 years, named Desha County Farm Family of the year 2007, served 10 years on Dumas School Board, served on Riceland Foods Dryer Council and Desha County Farm Bureau Board. Curt was active with First United Methodist Youth and served as usher, was a charter member of Dumas Farmers and Businessmen and was a member of Turner Neal Hunting Club.
Survivors are his wife, Julie Beth Walt Moore and two sons, Connor and Jackson Moore, parents Carter and Janet Moore of Dumas, one sister, Melissa Lin Moore of Dumas, maternal grandfather, Ted Hill of Dumas and paternal grandmother, Ardeneal Carter Moore of Dumas.
Visitation and funeral services held, Thursday, June 18, 2020, at First United Methodist Church, visitation from 3-4 p.m. with services following at 4 p.m. with Dr. Tandy Hanson officiating and burial in Walnut Lake Cemetery. Due to health concerns for family and friends, safety precautions will be followed at visitation and service.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to First United Methodist Church Youth, 230 Court Street, Dumas, Arkansas 71639.
