David Michael Holthoff, 76, Dumas, Arkansas passed away peacefully on November 2, 2022, in Little Rock, Arkansas with both of his daughters by his side.
David was born April 1, 1946, Pine Bluff, Arkansas, to the late Howard Lee and Marian Virginia Matthews Holthoff. He was a Farmer in Gould for many years.
He graduated from the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville with a degree in Business and was a member of the Kappa Sigma Fraternity. David grew up as a Boy Scout, which equipped him with many skills that benefited him throughout his life. He was proud to be the first Eagle Scout in Lincoln County.
He is preceded in death by his son, Michael, his brothers Byron (Brother), Frankie, and Howard (Corky) and their parents. He is survived by his daughters Allison Holthoff (Mark) and Kristin Koenigsfest (Heinz) and four grandchildren, Lucia and Alex Koenigsfest (Kristin) and Abby and Katherine Holthoff (Michael), all of Little Rock.
In his younger years, he loved hunting and fishing. He was an avid Razorbacks fan and supported the Hogs in every sport they played. He loved south Arkansas, and one of his favorite pastimes was riding around and enjoying nature. He accompanied his daughters on many trips around the United States where he was able to further observe God’s handiwork. He relished the Oaklawn racing season and looked forward to opening day every year. David was a friend to all and never met a stranger. He enjoyed helping others and serving God through humility and faith. He will be greatly missed by his family and many friends.
