James “Jim” Edward Palsa, 82 of Tillar, Arkansas passed away November 14, 2020 at his home. Jim was born on May 16, 1938 at Carlisle, Arkansas the son of the late, John Edward Palsa and Carra Johnson Palsa. His parents, two sons, James Edward Palsa, Jr., and Christopher Gene Palsa, one sister, Joy Mason preceded him in death.
Mr. Palsa was member at First Baptist Church of Dumas, he served as deacon, taught Men’s Sunday School class for over 30 years. Served as lay minister for Hispanic Church, lay chaplain for ADC at the Cummins facility, member of Gideon and Star City Hunting Club.
Survivors are his wife, Jean Palsa and son, Eddie Palsa both of Tillar, Arkansas, one brother, John Timothy Palsa of Carlisle, Arkansas, four grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
Funeral services were held at 2:00 PM on November 17, 2020 at First Baptist Church with Rev. Dubs Byers and Rev. Reuel Cruce officiating and burial followed in Jefferson Cemetery.
