Miles Denton Robbins 1994 - 2021

Miles Denton Robbins of Fayetteville, Arkansas, formerly of McGehee, Arkansas, went to be with the Lord on Friday, January 22, 2021. He was 26 years old. He was born July 30, 1994 in Albany, Georgia to Rachel Denton Freeze and Christopher Robbins.

Miles was a proud member of the McGehee High School Class of 2012 and attended the University of Arkansas at Monticello.

Miles brought joy and laughter to those who knew him. His wit, humor, and innate ability to inspire laughter was his gift to the world. He was loyal to those he loved, and he loved without abandon or boundaries. If Miles was your friend, he would literally give you the shirt off his back.

Miles had a special way of bringing joy to those around him, often with a wicked sense of humor. Whether it was putting a grilled cheese sandwich in the VCR when he was three, drinking Habanero sauce on a dare, or harassing his high school English teacher by secretly climbing in the ceiling of the classroom, Miles could always find life's humor. As an only child, Miles thought of his dearest friends as his brothers and sisters. His "fam" as he called them, did not fit into any sort of mold nor was membership in his family club dictated by age, gender, or the color of your skin, but simply by your ability to show love and loyalty.

Miles was not a perfect man, but he was perfectly imperfect to those who loved him. He never failed to share his wisdom, advice, or the last dollar in his pocket with the people who mattered to him. He believed in paying it forward, in finding the joy in life, and in sharing that joy with others. If you found yourself surrounded in darkness, Miles' gift was helping you to find your light.

Miles had a passion for sports and could recite statistics on everything from college football to Korean women's table tennis, although the Arkansas Razorbacks and the Milwaukee Brewers were the teams that held his heart. He could talk for hours on nearly any topic with a blue collar guy he just met or a college professor, both with equal acceptance. He loved the natural beauty of the world and found peace in riding his motorcycle through the Ozark mountains or hopping on scooters with his friends to ride around and admire the hand-painted murals on the walls of Fayetteville.

Miles is preceded in death by his beloved maternal great grandmother "Nanny" Louise Coulter of McGehee, AR, maternal grandfather Michael Patrick Denton, paternal grandparents David and Rhonda Robbins of Albany, GA, great-aunts Diane Coulter and Kay Birchfield, and maternal great-grandparents J.E. and Norma Denton, all of McGehee.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory his mother, Rachel Denton Freeze of McGehee, AR, father Chris Robbins of Hot Springs, AR; grandmother Brenda Denton, aunt Jamie Oconnor and husband Edward, great-aunt Arlene White and husband Jim, great-aunt Phyllis Wall, and special cousins Collin and Mason O’Connor, along with a host of other beloved cousins, and many friends whose lives he touched.

A graveside service will be held Wednesday, January 27, 2021 at 2:00p.m. at McArthur Cemetery with Bro. Eddie Holt officiating. Pallbearers will be his brothers in love Jordan Jones, Shaylon Hood, Dylan Fowler, Kumar Vasishta, Jordan McCoy, Garron Miller, Tyler Berryman, and Dee Terry.

The family kindly requests that masks and social distancing guidelines be adhered to during the service.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Paws & Claws Humane Society of McGehee, P.O. Box 238, McGehee, AR 71654. Arrangements under the direction of Griffin-Culpepper Funeral Service. Online guestbook may be signed at www.griffinculpepper.com
