The Duma Chamber of Commerce and Dumas High School EAST invite the public to join them from their Christmas parade to be held December 7.
This year's theme is "CHRISTMAS AT THE MOVIES". Design your float as your most memorable movie. Dumas will be filled with depictions of some of the best CHRISTMAS movies ever and By representing a classic holiday movie, we can bring Christmas to life.
This event begins at 6:00 pm, we encourage everyone to enter floats, decorated vehicles, or performing in groups. There will be a section for 4-wheelers, bicycles and horses. Line up begins at 5:00 pm at the old hospital parking lot. Entries will be judged beginning at 5:30 pm and prizes will be awarded as follows: $200.00 First Place Float, $100.00 Second Place Float., $50.00 Third Place Float, and $50.00 First Place Decorated Individual (4-wheeler, bicycle, horse, etc). Please do not include Mr. and Mrs. Claus in your entry as they will be our special guests. We ask the public to not throw candy or any other items to the viewing public.
