McGehee, AR – U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) Farm Service Agency (FSA) Executive Director David Goodson in Desha County reminds farmers, ranchers, landowners, and agricultural producers of the following important dates to remember:
August 14, 2020 – Acreage reporting deadline for 2020 with no late filing fee. Contact your local county FSA office to request your maps to assist with reporting your acreage.
August 21, 2020 – CRP new and reenrolled continuous offers must be submitted. Contact your local county FSA office with any additional questions.
August 28, 2020 – Final day to file an application for the CFAP (Coronavirus Food Assistance Program)
County Executive Goodson suggest farmers, ranchers, landowners, and producers serviced within Desha County may contact the Desha County FSA office at (870) 222-4867 extension 2, for questions regarding acreage reporting deadline for 2020, CRP continuous offers, and CFAP enrollment.
