As part of the Right to Read Act endorsed by the State of Arkansas, public school districts in the state have been assigned to teams for a closer lens on literacy. Department of Elementary and Secondary Education (DESE) visited Central Elementary on Wednesday, December 6, 2023 to conduct classroom walk throughs, observe student interactions, preview early literacy data as well as time reserve time for team collaboration.
