Dumas Middle School gifted and talented students attended the unveiling of the John H. Johnson statue recently at the Delta Heritage Trailhead in Arkansas City. Johnson, a native of Arkansas City was the owner of Johnson’s publishing company and owner of Ebony and Jet magazine.
