The Dumas Bobcats played their hearts out in the final game of the Dumas 2023 Holiday Classic Saturday, December 16, 2023. The Bobcats tied against Marianna 52-52 at the end of the fourth period. They won in overtime 60-57. (Originally published December 20, 2023)

Way to go Kiera Jones and Raylen Spratt on being the MVP for Saturday, December 18, 2023 game!! Thanks to all the teams, coaches, and fans that traveled and were a part of our Holiday Classic this week!! The Basketball Program at Dumas High School participated in a service project - Basketball Sneaker Drive. Shoes were collected up until December 1. They collected old and new sneakers to be donated to children who participate in basketball in Africa. The four teams competed with the winner getting a pizza party. Drum roll and the WINNER are the Sr. Ladycats. They would like to especially thank some of the high school faculty who brought shoes to them
