The General and Non Partisan Run-off Election will be held on Tuesday, November 3, 2020. Polls open from 7:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. Early Voting will be held at the Desha County Courthouse in Arkansas City beginning Monday Oct 19th -Nov 2nd.th 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. (weekdays) Sat Oct 24th and Sat Oct 31st 10:00 a.m. -4:00p.m. at the Desha County Courthouse only and ending at 5:00 pm on Nov 2nd at the Desha County Courthouse.
The Provisional Ballot count will be held at the Desha County Courthouse on November 3, 2020 after the

If you are registered to vote in Desha County you can vote at any of these vote centers on Election day or on any of the early voting days.
Absentee canvasing of the outside envelope only will be on October 29th and 30th at the Desha County Courthouse at 9:00 a.m.
The opening of the absentee ballot and tabulation will be on November 3, 2020 at the Desha County Courthouse at 9:00 a.m. No results will be released until 7:30 p.m.
Election day and Early Vote tabulation will begin as soon as the polls close on November 3, 2020 at the Desha County Courthouse.

As an extra precaution I and the commissioners are asking everyone to please wear a mask to the polls while voting. If you do not have a mask we will provide one for you if at all possible.
We encourage everyone to please consider taking advantage of early voting.
