Community Day of Prayer was well attended on Sunday, July 28th, at 2 pm. Prayers from several pastors were prayed regarding our city, state, and country. A community that prays together stays together. Debra Hawkins welcomed everyone and thanked Delta Memorial Hospital Auxiliary for hosting the event.
Thank you's went out to our mayor, city workers, Sherry's House of Flowers, LeKesha Joiner, Cindy Patton, Jennifer Fisher, Lynn Weatherford and to Clinton Hawkins.
The "WORD" is spreading and changing things. One attendee expressed how much they enjoyed the prayers and how much prayers are needed, and they look forward to the next event.
The next community day of prayer is scheduled for New Year’s Day 2025.
