On 3/29/2023 Chief Deputy Jonathan Byrd took a report from a resident from Dickson Lane, who made an internet sale of a motor vehicle to a subject allegedly from Chicago Illinois. After receiving the $8500.00 cashiers check, it was deposited into a local bank, and the funds were used to purchase another vehicle.
