David McGehee, 73 of Winchester, Arkansas passed away Sunday, June 25, 2023, at the John L. McClellan Veterans Hospital in Little Rock, Arkansas. Born December 11, 1949, to the late Taft McGehee, Sr., and Elmira Allen McGehee in Winchester, Arkansas. He was married to the late Doris L. McGehee, and they had four beautiful children: Dr. Jacqueline D. McGehee, David L. McGehee Jr, Nicole S. McGehee, and Eric L. McGehee.
David McGehee was a member of St. John Missionary Baptist Church, in Mitchellville, Arkansas where he served on the Usher Board under the leadership of the late Dr. T.R. Ramey. He served in Vietnam from 1969-1971. He enjoyed hanging out with his family and friends and telling jokes. He retired as a truck driver for over 35 years.
Visitation will be held on Friday, July 7, 2023, at Serenity Gardens from 3:00 pm-6:00 pm. The service will be held Saturday, July 8, 2023, at 2:30 pm at the Second Baptist Church 225 S. Walnut St. Dumas, Arkansas 71639. The burial will be held at Green Mount Cemetery. Hwy 277 Coleman, Arkansas 71655
